Fabulous and extremely rare antique crucifix of Jesus Christ made of terra-cotta and hand painted in polychrome in a craft workshop in South of Spain were the traditions and techniques were excellent representing face expression and body anatomy. The body is still in very good condition, except one arm that can be easily restored. An exquisite piece with fine craftsmanship embodies uniqueness and taste. Original antique piece from Spain, circa 1820. Jesus is made of terracotta and painted in polychrome. May need some restoration in one arm. Mounted on its original wood cross.
