This work dates from around 1600, and was made by the workshop of the Grand Master and famous Domenikos Theotokopoulos, known as “El Greco” or “The Greek”. The work was examined by ultraviolet rays and confirmed as a contemporary work of El Greco. It is attributed to an artist from the circle of the Grand Master by experts from the El Greco Museum in Toledo. Technical report on the state of conservation of the work “Lágrimas de San Pedro” (Tears of Saint Peter).
