Antique French Statue Hand Carved Wood Religious Figure of Michael The Archangel 22.5. A very nice find. Antique beginning 19thc, statue of Michael The Archangel. He is hand carved wood with gesso and hand painting. The sculpture is very fine, it has lovely features and great details. The details of the face are wonderful. His tunic is red with gold decoration. On the shield is engraved “QUIS UT DEUS”. All the paint is original. I left it as I found it. There is paint loss to the bottom of the wings. One finger is damaged ont the hand holding the shield, some small gaps also on the crown (I show all the defects on the last picutres). He stands (57 cm) 22.44″ tall and (27 cm) 10.63″ wide. The base is (19 cm) 7.48″ wide and (5 cm) 1.97″ deep. It weigth 1.675 kg. The packet is sent. The day after your. We take great care. We are very pleased to help. Please check with your country?
