A VERY FINE ANTIQUE 18th CENTURY HEXAGONAL OLD MASTER RELIGIOUS OIL PAINTING of THE ADORATION OF THE MAGI The painting itself measures approximately 12″ x 12″ and is hexagonal shaped. It is painted on board and hexagonal shaped ; framed within the original carved wood frame featuring scrolling acanthus leaves. Probably Italian, though it came from a French estate near Versailles. Beautiful quality nativity depiction this is a very fine piece of work. The painting is in very good original condition please refer to the detailed photographs to satisfy yourself ; the original antique frame has suffered from obvious & various losses, though it is nice to have it retained.
