Vintage Rare Antique Original Religious last rites box, Solid oak, chalkware Mary holding dying Jesus Christ her son, behind the beautiful glass with details. You have a door at the bottom which holds serving plate , holy water bottle, candles and such. This was a permanent fixture in homes used for house calls from the preist to aid people who were sick or dying, delivering the sacrament. The Holy name alter was also used for home devotions.
