Incredible original condition, 22 5/8″ tall x 11″ wide pedestal Altar Cross, antique 19th century European, (probably French) solid carved wood, gessoed & painted cream white with original gold highlights & red painting, glass eyes Crucifix! Corpus alone measures 9″ tall (not including 2 silver pegged rays off top of head) x 7″ arms wide open. Wooden body of Christ has a few natural age cracks & right hand finger tips have been rebuilt long ago. Please check photos carefully, all my Items are either Estate, Vintage or Antique.
