Up for sale is a wonderful antique hand embroidered 19th century religious needlepoint. This stunning silk embroidery is a depiction of Saint Anna and has her title sewn in red thread at the bottom. It’s done in an oval format, is double matted, and under glass. It is set in an exquisite Victorian gilt wooden frame that has ornate detailing. The piece is in lovely condition and measures 14 inches by 9 3/4 inches framed. The frame has a small loss on the top pediment as shown in last photo.
