Material: wood, terracotta, glass eyes, brass, velvet, etc. Lue Robe Madonna Holding Baby Jesus Statue “Cap i pota” circa 1900s. Principal material is wood, some parts of face, hand and foot might be made from terracotta, it is not sure. Overcoated with gesso, painted. The body and head made of wood. The velvet cape is embroidered with metal thread, and the hem is also trimmed with lace. The blue robe and dress is not original. Maybe cotton under dress is original. Two petticoats are layered. We did not check up remove the costume. The total height from top of the halo to bottom of the pedestal. The body and pedestal are fixed and cannot be removed.
