STUNNING ANTIQUE CARVED MEERSCHAUM RELIEF RELIGIOUS DEVOTIONAL SIGNED MATTEI. Large size frame approx 13 x 11 inches. Image size approx 9.5 x 8 inch. Domed glass on ebonised oval frame. Unfortunately a piece has been damaged the angels arms have been glued back on and not very well. They look to have been glued back on the wrong way round. Apart from that there is no other obvious damage and I think its beauty over powers any imperfections. Unsure what the image is. Signed mattei also says sauvageau.
