This antique 1800’s Wooden’Retablo’ is a religious hanging that is a beautifully crafted piece originating from Mexico. This item was brought home by my great-great grandmother more than a 100 years ago when she was a Christian Missionary in Mexico. Set of 15 Antique Books from the 1700’s to the 1800’s Religious Books (Rare) Written in Latin & German. They all appear to be part of the same set. The books are in average condition for their age. The covers and binding have some wear. There could have been some moisture damage, however it is hard to tell. One book has a couple of pages which looks like it was cut with a scissor. Please keep in mind these books are very old and not not in perfect condition. All pages appear to be intact. Edition 1 Premier – Premier Communion 1848. Sermons Edition 4 1827. L’AME Sur Le Calvaire September Edition? L’Expedition De Cyrus 1778 Tome I Premier. The other books are from 1828, 1784, Dictionary 1767, 1768, 1740, 1827, 1786, 1865, 1880, 1821. Up for sale is a rare antique 19th century handmade needlepoint memorial sampler. The sampler is done with elaborate detailing depicting a densely foliated cross framed with a lovely floral border. The bottom edge is dated 1847 and reads’Catherine Ferguson’. It measures 23 1/4 inches by 19 3/4 inches framed. There is ware to the piece and to the fibers and some discoloration as shown.
