Spectacular pair 19th century. They are very heavy. They have three pictures on them. One Jesus, a Dove (the Spirit), and God the Father. They are believed to be church alter candlesticks. Extremely old I did not clean them. I do not know the exact metal I believe them to be bronze and expert might know I just know they’re very amazing very old and very special approx 21″ tall x 7″ wide at the base feet. A fantastic pair of the Trinity.

Pair of Antique Neo-Gothic Figural Candlesticks. This is a beautiful and heavy pair of antique silver-plated candlesticks, featuring highly detailed religious figures as the stems. One depicts the Virgin Mary in a pose of mourning, and the other depicts St. John the Apostle holding a book (the Gospels). Design: Ornate Gothic Revival style with flared acanthus leaf bases and decorative urn-shaped candle cups. Dimensions: Approximately 26 cm (H) x 10.5 cm (W). / 10.23″ x 4.13″. Weight: Total weight for the pair is 888 grams, giving them a very solid, high-quality feel. There is a lovely aged patina, and the silver plating has worn through in high-relief areas, revealing the warm bronze/brass tones underneath. These pieces are in authentic antique condition. There is significant “bleeding” of the silver plate (where the base metal shows through), which adds to their character and proves their age. There are no major dents or repairs visible. Beautifull crucifix with the matching 2 candlesticks. This set is branded JMPC made in Belgium. Belgium is a small country in Europe next to France. This stunning set would be a real eye-catcher in your interior. The set is in good condition, just one leg from the Crucifix has a little dent, see detail pictures. It is made in Zamak: Zamak (formerly trademarked as ZAMAK and also known as Zamac) is a family of alloys with a base metal of zinc and alloying elements of aluminium, magnesium, and copper. I’ve made a picture with a wine bottle next to it so that you have an idea of the size. The bottle is not included. If you are looking for something real special for your home then you have just found it. Heavy patina with worn gilt throughout revealing bronze-like color. Enough so that there was consideration if the set is bronze with gold gilt. One rim in particular is bent, some other small indentations on the base. Please see photos for up close views. A pair of late 19th-century – early 20th century brass candlesticks with cameos of Mary, Joseph, and Jesus on the base. Neoclassic columns with fluted tops. They hold standard taper candles. Although designed for church altars, they are quite suitable to use as accents on side tables or on a formal dinner table.
