Quick description Amazing old diorama, religious Folk Art circa 1880. Probably made at the end of the 19th century with older elements. Christ is older, very well made, probably 18th century. The Virgin and Mary Magdalene seems to be more of a 19th century work. The whole is presented on painted panels. Good general state of conservation. Dimensions 37cm wide, 34cm high and 7cm deep.

This Antique Carved Wood Religious Triptych Christ Shrine features intricate detailing and religious symbolism typical of traditional Christian art. Overall this piece is in very good (VG). It shows light marks/wear commensurate with its age. The wood pieces are hinged together with string. There is a square area with what seems like sticker residue on the backside of the item. It is visible in the photos. The area is very slightly tacky. The triptych was stored for many years with Christmas ornaments and may show one or two flecks of glitter that I missed. The piece measures 4.5 tall. When opened, it measures 4.5 width.
