An antique German pewter guild cup pokal with 18th century coins, and religious medals. The cup is approximately 11.5 inches tall and weighs a substantial 3.5 pounds. It is missing its cover. I’ve been able to identify German, Swiss and other European coins dating as early 1720 and as late as 1788. There also appears to be 3 religious medals of some sort. There is wrigglework type decoration on the body of the cup. The cup has some scratches and small dents and dings. “Munchen” and some numbers are written on the bottom – these are possibly old museum inventory identification marks.
