Antique 18th century Santos statue with glass eyes. Unknown composition body, possible its wood and gesso but its only my thoughts. Possible this statue is a small fragment of a larger composition? Has lots of old wear and surface stress marks… He has a wonderful face and blue glass eyes. Measurement is approx: 15″ T x 4.5″ W with stand He is 17.5″ T, the stand is: 3.5″ x 4″ x 2″ and made of solid wood. If you have any questions or need more photos ask I’ll do my best to answer.
