A wonderful, masterfully done, old religious painting in great shape for its age. The details are exquisite! I don’t see any artist’s signature which would be a must for a piece of this caliber and quality, so I presume it was commissioned by a church or some religious entity. There are three small issues: a very small area of slightly buckling paint right above her hands. About 5 wide jagged horizontal crackling right above her head and a tiny area to the left of her head missing the gloss you see in the rest of the surface. You would need to scrutinize the painting at a close distance to see all these imperfections. I just feel I should mention it, regardless of its insignificance. The frame has come chipped paint and is a bit rough. Just would need to know your location and zip code. In overall the painting is in surprisingly nice condition and, if put in the right frame, would look like it came from a small museum somewhere. The painting inside the frame measures 28 1/4″ x 23″. I try to do my best. And represent each item in the most honest and professional way I can. Still, I cant know everything about everything. Please ask as many questions, as you may deem necessary, to make sure what you are purchasing is up to. I will be glad to answer and address each and every question. Lets not assume anything.
