The product is an antique French book published in 1669 with a secret compartment. This unique book is a valuable collector’s item with a hidden compartment, making it a rare and intriguing find for book enthusiasts and collectors alike. When I was clearing out my parents house after they passed away in 2005 I found this book.. But I always knew it was there because my father would show it to me when I was a child. Anyway I’m 75 right now and I thought maybe somebody that collects books would enjoy it. It sits on my bookshelf and I really never shared it with anyone in my family. Made in the late 1800s this type of crucifix was popular for private devotion On a home altar or bedside stand. The body of Christ is made out of cast metal. It is attached to an wood free standing crucifix on a removable base. It is from the Victorian era. It is in very good condition for its age. Certainly the body has oxidized a bit Which adds to the charm and authenticity of the cross. The rest of the cross is an excellent condition it is 14 inches tall by 5 inches wide.
