This is part of an Ashkenazi Torah scroll containing Exodus 4:10 through Exodus 9:35. It seems to have originated in central Europe and includes “tagin” or crowns. It is on Vellum and measures 9.75″ (inches) high by 12.75″ (inches) long. This was originally part of a complete Torah scroll. This manuscript contains eight columns.

This is a rare and beautifully preserved Ethiopian protective healing scroll, meticulously handwritten in Ge’ez, the sacred liturgical language of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church. Dating likely to the 19th century, the scroll is made from vellum (animal skin parchment) and features both black and red ink, symbolizing divine and protective prayers. The scroll includes illustrations of winged archangels, geometric talismanic designs, and sacred invocations. I can accurately state that this religious book/manuscript is extremely rare since it is one of a kind – handwritten in 1804. It is over 220 years old and measures 5 x 7.75 inches. On the outside cover “Brixen” is written. Brixen is a town in northern Italy. Please see the photo.
