Escription of item for sale. This oil on canvas. Painting of a classic monastery scene is from Belgium and it dates to the mid-1900’s. It is signed by the artist but we were not able to decipher the signature or identify the artist. The painting is in very good antique condition, tight on its stretchers and with only very minor nicks and scratches. The wood frame is also in very good antique condition with no damage of any significance. The frame is from the same period as the painting and is most likely original. Dimensions : 34″ wide, 26.5″ tall and 2.5 thick in its frame. The canvas size is 27.5″ wide and 20″ tall.
