Offered is an authentic 1867 Family Holy Bible in original, untouched condition with an incredible collection of original items preserved inside for well over a century. This is far more than just an antique Bible-it is a genuine historical time capsule that contains religious, family, and newspaper ephemera spanning decades. Antique 1867 Holy Bible. Original 1898 Epworth League Prayer-Meeting Topics booklet (complete). Multiple antique Danish-language religious/catechism pages. Late -1800s/early-1900s newspaper clippings. Original pressed flower preserved inside the Bible. Additional original paper fragments and inserts exactly as found. Everything is included exactly as discovered. Nothing has been cleaned, restored, or altered. The binding shows expected wear from over 150 years of age. Despite the binding issues, the Bible appears to be more than 99% complete. I carefully inspected it and could not find any missing pages, although it is possible that one or two pages may be absent. Because of its age and fragile condition, I chose not to force the binding apart or manipulate the pages, as I did not want to risk damaging this remarkable piece of history. Both Genesis and Revelation appear to be 100% present and complete. The pages exhibit expected age toning, foxing, and light staining consistent with a Bible of this era. All original historical inserts shown in the photographs-including the 1898 Epworth League Prayer-Meeting Topics booklet, Danish-language religious pages, antique newspaper clippings, paper fragments, and the pressed flower-are included with the sale. Please review all photographs carefully, as they are an important part of the description and accurately represent the Bible’s condition. This would make an outstanding addition to a collection of. Vintage Antique “Holy Grave of Christ” German Chromolithograph c. Up for sale is a stunningly preserved, turn-of-the-century European devotional chromolithograph depicting the Holy Grave of Christ No. This vibrant print showcases exceptional multi-stone lithography detailing Jesus Christ resting in the tomb, surrounded by adoring angels, the Eucharist/Monstrance, and the Arma Christi (Instruments of the Passion-including the Holy Lance, Crown of Thorns, hammer, nails, and the INRI titulus). This piece comes housed in its gorgeous, original late-Victorian “step-down” stained hardwood frame with its original wavy glass and a heavy antique cardboard backing panel. DimensionsTotal Outer Frame: 24.5 inches wide x 20.5 inches high. Visible Sight Size (Inner Window): 18.5 inches wide x 14.5 inches high. Molding Width: 3 inches. This item is in beautiful antique condition with excellent color retention. Artwork: The lithograph ink remains incredibly bright and vivid with minimal fading. Frame & Glass: The original hardwood frame is structurally sound, featuring an original top-center metal eyelet hanger. There is some minor, age-appropriate separation at the mitered corner joints and typical flaking/tarnish on the inner gilt liner trim. The original antique wavy glass is intact with no cracks. Backing & Hardware: The thick antique cardboard backing board shows a prominent, historic watermark tide-line on the lower-left section from past moisture exposure. The panel remains completely dry and structurally sound. The backing is secured into the frame by incredibly old framing tape overlaid across a few old original framing nails underneath. The tape has heavily yellowed, become brittle, and dried over time, but it remains fully intact and has kept the piece sealed. This is a one-of-a-kind religious artifact believed to have been gifted to Benedictine monks in Latin America between the late 18th and early 19th century. Constructed from a single black tourmaline (shorl) crystal, the piece features intricate silver filigree work, gold inlays, and a vibrant opal specimen. The reliquary is crowned with a rare 1774 “Carolus III Dei Gratia” one Real silver coin from the Bolivia Potosí mint, mounted above a hidden votive compartment.
