Elegant vintage standing crucifix, made in Germany, measuring 9?? tall x 3¾? Wide x 2¼? Deep. This piece features a black-finished wooden cross and stepped plinth base, mounted with a finely cast silver-tone Corpus of Christ and an “INRI” plaque above. The base bears a radiant sunburst medallion -a symbolic nod to divine light and resurrection. The back is stamped “Made in Germany, ” indicating postwar production, most likely 1950s-1960s, when German religious artisans were renowned for their precise metal casting and devotional craftsmanship. A beautiful, compact size suited for a home altar, bedside devotion, or small chapel display. The contrast between the dark wood and bright metal figure gives it a solemn, dignified presence. Height: 9?? Width: 3¾? Depth: 2¼? “Made in Germany” stamp on reverse. Light age wear and mild surface marks to the wood finish. Metal Christ figure shows gentle patina consistent with age. Sturdy and displays beautifully. After World War II, German religious workshops in regions such as Bavaria and the Black Forest resumed producing devotional art for export, combining traditional handcraft with modern precision. This is a series of images depicting Jesus Christ on the day of his crucifixion. The pieces are connected making a fold-out set. Each page is adorned with two silver-plated metals and a velvet green background that show great attention to detail. The leather shows only small signs of age. A beautiful, rare piece. This is from my Grandmother’s attic. It’s at least 50 years old. The actual date it was made is unknown to me. Measurements closed: 2.7″ x 5.25″.

Antique Germany Metal Ebony Wood Crucifix Cross Religious Relic Christian Catholic. Finely detailed crucifix in ebonized wood approx. 5″× 2 1/2″, ring for hanging/wearing/veneration, good condition consistent with age and use. Jesus’ body is very detailed. This antique item is in very good condition and having some wear consistent with age. This incredible crucifix cross would be a great addition to any Antique Christian Religious Relic Collection. This may have been used on a large rosary worn by a nun or priest around the waist. A beautiful addition to any home and a great gift for a collector.
