Beautiful antique 800 silver pendant necklace featuring an ornate openwork frame surrounding a delicate hand-painted portrait image with religious/Madonna-inspired styling. This antique needed a necklace to match its beauty and originality. The pendant is SIGNED but do not know the markers mark. The cross is an antique but the necklace is NEW without tags because it is artisan made. Cross pendant: 3-1/4″ x 2-1/2″. Signed – unknown hallmark. Necklace can be removed from cross pendant to wear alone. Necklace is designed with Swarovski crystal. Strung on silk thread and hand knotted every inch for security. The small beads between crystals are French tiny faceted steel beads from 1800’s. Pendant is signed on back but unfamiliar with the makers mark.
