Beautiful piece of sculpture with wonderful wear and surface. If this is not a genuine early piece, it is well worth the effort someone put into making it look old. Great craquelure and patina and a nice size to work in any space. Please use photos and zoom feature for most accurate condition. Measures about 9″ by 4.75″ and 4.25 deep. Please get them approved before purchasing. Any questions must be answered before the sale. Almost everything I offer is old and has likely spent time in a basement or garage. Age – early 20th century. Approximate size – 49 1/2″H x 16″W, base 14″ x 14″. Condition – this statue in good shape except for, some chips to petals of front rose – see photo, one chip to tip of gown lower left side, and a chip to edge of base lower left side, a very small nice to veil, and maybe a couple other minor nicks to base, paint in good shape, missing Cross she would have been holding. This offering is for an antique 19th century hand painted tin Retablo. The painting was done in oils on tin and measures app. 7″ X 5″ The artwork features a view of Santa Rita typically holding a skull in one hand and a crucifix in the other. She has a small halo above her head and very nicely done wispy clouds behind her. The condition is excellent with very very minor wear and tiny losses to the surface with one small nail hole at the top center. There are no dents, creases or bends.
