This is an Antique chalkware statue depicting the Saints Rita and Theresa. The original finish has worn and exhibits dirt from the past storage. Fair amount of paint loss. I found one other of these statues on another web site and it was clearly refinished. It is an altar of some sort, that perhaps was for dipping fingers in holy water as one was about to offer prayer. WE ARE THE MUDLARKS, we find treasures so you don’t have too!
