A beautifully painted and very tender work signed lower left and with inscription d’Apres……. Sympathetically painted with hints of the Pre-Raphaelite; by a very good hand. Size- 11.75 by 8.75 inches approx (300 x 220 mm) including frame, panel 10 by 7 inches approx. Medium- Oils on canvas laid to panel. Frame- Old wooden frame, some knocks, offered free with the painting. Condition- Generally decent, we would be happy to hang this one as found. Light dirty varnish marks in places, light convex curvature to the panel. Signature- Lower left and with inscription.
