ANTIQUE EUROPEAN ROSARY SET. For your consideration, this lovely hand made silver and gold antique rosary. European (Spanish) from 1800’s. The chain consists of lapis lazuli beads and silver gilted chain (not 18k gold) that show delicate hand etched designs. The 18k gold (acid testing) filigree crucifix at the end shows magnificent work on both its front and back side. The size of the cross is 6.2 cm x 4.2cm. This is a delicate rosary that displays absolutely quality workmanship throughout. This kind of rosary is not meant to be worn around the neck and there is therefore no clasp/opening. This genuine Rosary luxury set includes a prayer book in Spanish published in Barcelona in 1899 and two aditional leather wallets. The previous owner of this set was an important person indeed. Very good overall condition for its age, near mint, however it has some age marks, surface rubs and wear (please watch closely the provided pictures). Total Weight (only the Rosary) : Approximately 41Grams. Rosary size: 50cm ; 19.68. Case size: 33×24 cm. This elegant luxury Rosary set will make a fine addition to your religious collection. Set out to look like open pages by the text, and with the lower third given over to a series of finely worked spot motifs, including crowns, birds, flowers in urns, hearts, trees with birds, animals, the whole surrounded by an intricate border. Sampler is long undisturbed in its frame. Please see the photos, this is a wonderful sampler, in its antique frame. A unique and interesting sampler which would make a wonderful addition to a collection or unique gift for a special occasion. 35 x 56 cms inc frame. 19thC Painted & Stained Glass RELIGIOUS Panel Really Fine Quality Painting
Make sure you OPEN all the photographs which ENLARGE as they form part of the visual description.. 19thC Painted & Stained Glass RELIGIOUS Panel Really Fine Quality Painting. This is small leaded glass panel which has a really nice hand painted central picture which is clearly religious.. Showing Madonna and Child sat and a gentleman either painting a portrait of them or writing a letter in front.. Curtain material and furniture around and a book and a vase of flowers too. Jesus is holding a small flower. An open area with a few small trees in the back ground. Around this main painted glass centre are 12 other smaller bits of glass in blue and a reddy orange in the conrers…. 3 of the narrow blue glass strips have cracks.. And I can hear the glass rattling within the leaded strips. Two small iron hooks at the top of the panel allow it to be hung up. This frame is rather nice with stained wood and has a small tin metal candle holder at one side. The metal has a slot down it so you can get out the candle when its burnt down. The glass panel is approx 12 inch long x 9 and half inch wide x 3/16ths inch deep lead edge. See close up photographs for more details and condition.
