This vintage antique religious wall console is a beautiful piece that exudes old-world charm. The console features a shield with a cross and an angel, making it a perfect addition to any religious collection. The piece is crafted from either wood or possibly wood resin, maybe plater and seems to have a layer of plaster or ceramic covering the outside. I included pictures of an area where the angel wing is chipped if that helps to identify material. I also included numerous pics. Hopefully someone with more knowledge can date this piece better by the information provided. Either way, this item is perfect for collectors of religious artifacts or lovers of antique décor. Offered here is a wonderful Victorian sign on a solid wood shield, hand painted with. This shield would have hung in a seminary or similar, and is just a beautiful thing. The patina of this is wonderful. It is a completely unique, one off piece. We will be truly sorry when it sells. We have a set of 4 mottos and 2 silence is requested available separately. Please note that this has plenty of surface wear and so forth. All as shown and nothing that detracts. If you have any questions, please ask. I will respond promptly.
