Pair of Antique 18th Century Silkwork Silk Embroideries St. A charming and quite unique pair of c. 18th century framed silk embroideries with metallic thread and sequined details. One depicts saint Christopher carrying a child across a river within a roundel. The other a female saint on some kind of boat with a serpent at her feet and the sun and moon at her shoulders, also within a roundel. Both in very good condition with bright colours. The female saint appears to have a couple of tiney pin holes to the right of her head. Minimal wear with possibly some loss to metallic thread but nothing really noticeable.
