Early 19th century (1850 or earlier) set of 2 antique religious hand-carved wood statues depicting ANGEL/CHERUBS. Origin is most likely Italian. The statues are carved from wood. These busts are meant to hang on a wall since the back is flat and unfinished. Measures approximately 5.75 inches tall and 6.75 inches wide. They are 3 deep. In e xcellent condition for age…. A few age cracks, paint rubbing and some pine bore/worm holes. Been in my collection for the last 25 years. Came out if a Palm Beach estate.
