It is on Vellum and measures 9.75″ (inches) high by 12.75″ (inches) long. This was originally part of a complete Torah scroll. This manuscript contains five columns.

This is a rare and beautifully preserved Ethiopian protective healing scroll, meticulously handwritten in Ge’ez, the sacred liturgical language of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church. Dating likely to the 19th century, the scroll is made from vellum (animal skin parchment) and features both black and red ink, symbolizing divine and protective prayers. The scroll includes illustrations of winged archangels, geometric talismanic designs, and sacred invocations. Such scrolls were traditionally worn or kept for spiritual protection and healing from the evil eye, illness, or demonic forces.
