Antique 15-16th C Ancient Carved Wall Wood European Religious Sculpture Art High Relief. This is a very old European, research shows this is from Spain. It is almost’petrified’ wood wall sculpture/plaque, believed to be created in the 18th-19th century. The homeowner was a serious antique collector. He had many excellent rare & religious carvings, an excellent eye. He lived & worked in Switzerland for many years before retiring here in the US. Condition is Used/Pre-Owned in very good antique condition showing wear as expected with age. This certainly has age wear, but this adds to the quality that only time creates. The back has a wall hanger that is rusty but solid, looks like surface rust. The textures here are amazing & give depth to any decor, every home should have sculpture. This is suitable for even the smallest of spaces, plus this is incredibly old & beautiful, a very fine antiquity, it is definitely a rare find. Dimensions: 16″ Tall x 7″ W x 1 1/2 Depth. I will be happy to answer any concern. All items are packaged with extreme care.

A Chasuble Back with an Orphrey Cross. The dark red silk velvet chasuble back with applied embroidered Orphrey Cross. Worked in silk and gilt metal wrapped threads. Italian Dating from late 15th early 16th century. Finished with an 18th century metallic lace edging. Mounted at top to an antique wood hanger for wall display. Expected antique condition with appropriate signs of wear commensurate with great age and use. Wear, rubbing loose missing thread , losses wear to metallic lace.
