Antique 15-16th C Ancient Carved Wall Wood European Religious Sculpture Art High Relief. This is a very old European, research shows this is from Spain. It is almost’petrified’ wood wall sculpture/plaque, believed to be created in the 18th-19th century. The homeowner was a serious antique collector. He had many excellent rare & religious carvings, an excellent eye. He lived & worked in Switzerland for many years before retiring here in the US. Condition is Used/Pre-Owned in very good antique condition showing wear as expected with age. This certainly has age wear, but this adds to the quality that only time creates. The back has a wall hanger that is rusty but solid, looks like surface rust. The textures here are amazing & give depth to any decor, every home should have sculpture. This is suitable for even the smallest of spaces, plus this is incredibly old & beautiful, a very fine antiquity, it is definitely a rare find. Dimensions: 16″ Tall x 7″ W x 1 1/2 Depth.
