It also shows how Solomon’s wisdom was revealed to the people through the famous judgment he rendered. Content of the Haftarah. Solomon’s Dream and Request: Solomon asks God not for riches or long life, but for a wise and understanding heart to judge his people. The Gift of Wisdom: God appears to Solomon in a dream and grants him a wise and discerning heart, as he requested.
