Found at a local estate sale with some lovely antiques is this antique/vintage beautifully executed oil painting on canvas depicting a Saint holding a cross.. It looks Italian to us.. The colors are quite lovely and muted.. We especially love the sunburst around the saints head, quite spectacular.. The face is very detailed.. The gladiator sandals are really neat.. Condition isnt too bad.. There is some some loss of paint in several spots as pictured, so not perfect but we feel it doesnt really detract but you may find that it does..
