Very large and ornate Indian two-handed ax, wearing a massive well forged steel head heavily etched with animals and floral scrolls and inlaid with brass and copper depicting religious motives of people performing sertain ceremnies inside the temple, with several Hundu inscriptions on top. Original wooden shaft mounted by 4 rives and adorned with brass flower rivet caps, end of the shaft with a heavy iron counter weight mount. Solid overall on this very impressive and well built piece.
