ANTIQUE FRENCH 19th C SAINT ST. JEROME PORTRAIT OIL on CANVAS RELIGIOUS PAINTING. Antique French Saint / St. Jerome Oil on Canvas. Gorgeous Workmanship on this Antique French Saint / St. Jerome having his long beard and reading a book displayed below him. In addition, there is a skull beneath his left arm and a cross coming out of his left hand. A tree with branches are in the background and a the wonderful warmth of a halo over his head. Circa late 1880’s. My Frame does NOT… Come with this Antique Oil… I only set it in so you can view the beauty of what it will look like inside a frame… Also, there are Paint scuffs along the upper center and right edges of all corners—around the whole perimeter. There is a small scuff on top of the cross and 2 tiny white dots on St. A few tiny paint scuffs on bottom near the book. All these are minor to me… But I rather say more, than less, so you know what to expect when you receive it. Please judge for yourself and view all my photos as they are part of my description. Measures: 26 1/8″ wide by 31.5″ Tall. I pack extra well and secure each piece while being transported to insure it arrives the way you bought it. I take much pride & effort to describe item/s completely & honestly.
