This is an Antique J. Deagan Catholic Church Religious 5 Bronze Chime Set. Chimes made in Chicago, USA. It is in very good condition and all 5 Chimes are perfect with a beautiful sound. There are 5 bronze (I think) name plates besides each chime stating its purpose in the church. I have had it for 40 years, sitting in a closet and finally decided I really don’t need it. There must have been a name plate in the upper right hand corner which has been carved out where it was attached. Besides that, the front wood is quite good. The back has some chips of veneer off it at the bottom, and each side has some delamination along the edge. On is along the lower portion of the each edge and almost identical on both sides. (see picture) None of this impairs its functionality or beautiful sound, and I think could be fixed fairly easy. It weighs about 30lbs and is 21″ H x 20″ w x 4 D.
