Description of the item for sale. This painting was most likely made in France around 1950. It is a painted portrait of Jesus walking with the cross. It is painted with oil on a canvas and framed in a gilt frame with wood and plaster decorative elements. The Painting is not signed, but is very nicely painted. There is a large repair on the left side of the head, hair and background included. This is also visible from the back of the painting where the canvas was restored. There is some visible damage to the frame in the upper left corner. Dimensions: 28,5″ / 72 cm wide – 34,5 in / 88 cm high – 1.5 in / 4 cm deep – Painting size: 23.5″ by 29.5 – weight: 3750g.
