This good quality Baroque painting shows evangelical (Gospel) scene where Jesus divides bread and gives new covenant. Note two very expressive arguing figures in the shade to the left. Entourage and capriccio look very baroques. There are big hands to each of characters in the scene, painting seems like was hang in the Church. Painting was done rather in first quarter of 17th century perhaps by Flemish painter (unsigned). Oil on canvas 53 x 75 cm (roughly 21 x 29,5 in) enclosed into nice much more recent frame 68 by 91 cm (roughly 26,8 x 35,8 in). Please study good resolution images for precise cosmetic condition.
