They seem to be all metal. The brown is peeling and chipping on. The bottom and a little on the bases. Of a few of the candlesticks. The brown is pretty delicate and will come off pretty easily. The cords are very dry, cracked and brittle. I will not try and plug them in. They will need rewired. I have another pair of candlesticks that. Work great, these look to be an older set. The candlesticks are huge! 20″ tall from the base x 7″ round at the bottom base. There is a bracket for a pole on the bottom. It will have to be at least 1 1/2 to fit inside the pole. They can stand on their own. The pole is NOT included. You could repurpose them and have them on a shelf or cabinet. The case is nice and holds them securely. 22″ x 14 1/2″ x 8.
