Antique French Jeweled Baroque Santos Crown. Would have adorned the head of a devotional sculpture, most likely Virgin Mary. Dating from the late 19th century. The decorative gilded metal tiara is decorated throughout with antique multicoloured paste stones. All the stones are present and original. Overall a lovely example in original antique as found condition. As they do form a very important part of the description. SIZE: diameter across base is 5.5 inches and can open up and close if required. The total height is 3.25 inches.
