Price is for both (2) chairs. Chairs measure about 48″ H x 29.5″ W x 27 D. Appears to be furniture. They remind me of Budde & Weis Church Chairs, but I do not think they are due to the little bit of marking on the one chair. The other chair has no makers mark. These are gorgeous chairs! They weigh about 85 pounds each (I had a difficult time moving them around for the pics due to weight). Solid, but the wood is a veneer. They came out of an old church that closed years ago in St. Louis that the building is slated for demo. They have been sitting in an uncontrolled environment for years. They appear to be from around 1920 era. Please note – I was unable to take pictures of all concerns. I will list as many here as I can remember. Wood: Lots of dents, dings, missing color, missing wood, scratches, gouges, veneer coming off/missing. One arm the veneer is taped on with scotch tape, cracked, missing decorative pieces, and the like. Springs: Need to be fixed. Most are loose, not standing properly, rusted, and the like. I honestly do not know. If all springs are present. Spring covering material needs to be replaced too. Cushions: They need to be reupholstered! The leather/vinyl is just nasty with burns, holes, stains, and I have. No clue what the other stuff is on them. Please bring packing material, ties, and help. I cannot aid in any of the aforementioned. The item “2 Antique Vintage Church Prayer Chair Arts Crafts Mission Altar Religious Gothic” is in sale since Monday, June 29, 2020.
