A beautiful antique French 18 carat yellow gold pendant. The pendant has the Eagles Head hallmark for 18ct French gold on the fixed bail. It has glorious raise detailing around the border with little stars engraved around the centrally placed monstrance or ostensorium. It is in super condition for its great age. It is engraved on the rear of the pendant in French: Born the 22nd of February 1885, 3 June 1896 along with ornately scripted initials, of FP. It was undoubtedly a 1st Holy Communion gift to the young person. The pendant measures 23mm long by 20mm wide, not including the fixed bail at the top. It’s weight is 1.72 grams.
