Early 19th century (1850 or earlier) antique religious hand-carved wood statue depicting ANGEL/CHERUB with trumpet. Has gold gilding and and a brass crown. Origin is most likely Italian. The statue is carved from wood. This bust is meant to hang on a wall. Measures approximately 6.5 inches tall and 5.25 inches wide. In e xcellent condition for age…. A few age marks. Been in my collection for the last 25 years. Came out of a Palm Beach estate. Note: These true antique hand carved wood angels are highly collectable but very hard to come by these days.
