Hand Blown Religious Victorian Dome
This item is 7 1/2 inches tall by 3 1/4 wide and 2 1/2 inches thick. The figure of the priest was originally holding a bouquet of flowers which broke off but the piece was saved. It would have had three feet on the base but they are gone. The glass dome is early blown glass and complete with swirls and bubbles. The right hand figure is an angel but the left side figure shows no sign of ever having wings. My guess is that the priest is holding Jesus and the right hand figure represents Mary. This was something that my mother had packed away for decades. It really is a wonder that any of these have survived.
