Lovely 19th Century silver filigree religious icon pendant. Hand painted under beveled glass and is two sided. One side is a painting of a nun holding a cross in her left hand. The other side is a painting of a man of the clergy. The glass measures about 1 7/8″ from top to bottom, and about 1 1/2″ wide. Overall the pendant measures about 2/1/4″ tall and 2″ wide. The glass is in good condition. The filigree on one side is partially gone, and there is a small bit of silver overlay along the side that is worn off. Please see my pictures. This pendant belonged to my Mother.
