This is a rare antique Tibetan cultural and religious large bead. Beads from well-known forefathers and historic collections are uncommon and unavailable in today’s market. This particular bead is made of glass and appears to be black, but when held up to the light, a dark green color becomes visible. Green symbolizes balance and is located in the center of the color spectrum. Green is associated with the environment, growth, harmony, freshness, fertility, and financial relationships. The bead is accented with applied silver around its surface and at the top. Please note that the silver used here is different from the typical 925 sterling silver. The bead measures approximately 2.75 inches long x 1.0 inch wide, and has a diameter of 0.66 inches at both ends. As an antique, it is over 100 years old and is in excellent condition, with no flaws or damage. This bead has been gently cared for by local owners.
