Up for sale is a rare antique 19th century handmade needlepoint memorial sampler. The sampler is done with elaborate detailing depicting a densely foliated cross framed with a lovely floral border. The bottom edge is dated 1847 and reads’Catherine Ferguson’. It measures 23 1/4 inches by 19 3/4 inches framed. There is ware to the piece and to the fibers and some discoloration as shown.
