Excellent piece of early 20 th. Century religious publishing.. The place of Catholics and the Catholic Church in the history, founding, formation and defense of the United States. 1,115+ pages and generously illustrated. Overall, this copy is in good+ condition. Measures 10″ x 8″ x 3. The pages have a hint of tone, the occasional small spot/smudge and all are unmarked. The first two fly leafs have worn edges and tear repair with archival quality tape. There is joint repair front and back. Spine cover ends are pressed and worn. Light corner scrapes, some rubbing and wear to the boards. Couple of small soil spots on the front board. The binding is good and the text block edge is nicely marbled.
