Antique 19thc stained glass window church panel. Very beautiful piece in a wood frame. Some cracklines glass but still gorgeous. Came from the private collection of a priest. 57.5 x 50 cm.
Not framed so it definitely has so many shelf life as you can see in the photos. Some of the threads are broken and some of the beads and small stuff are missing, but almost the embroidery is still very good! You can put a frame of it or just let it be that way. Because of the age, some of the broken threads may fragile, it may keep fall or broken. It’s a very precious collectible piece! And honestly its in very good shape and quality after 100 years without any frame or protection.
Bought from a high end designer in Beverly Hills. The silk tapestry portion is from the 1800’s but in recent years restuffed and brought fully back to life. This is an extremely delicate rare gorgeous heirloom piece. 28×15 inches without tassels.
Beautiful gothic revival style reliquary or shrine panel with pointed arches and red painted backing salvaged from a Spanish cathedral. Likely dating back to the 19th Century, it is structurally intact but it shows expected wear for its age including a chip, worn gilding and paint loss, all expected for its age.
