Antique Religious Framed Print Saint Joseph & Child Jesus by Leiber Garland. This depicts Saint Joseph holding child Jesus. Jesus hold a crown of roses above Saint Joseph’s head. This has a lovely golden hue that is still vibrant despite its age. The print itself is in good condition with a few areas of wear. Please see pics for close-ups of some of the areas of wear. We d did not notice any rips stains or tears to the print. The frame is in good condition with signs of age and use consistent with age. Defects include something white spilled on the gold inner frame on the lower left corner some cracking finish on the right corner and some missing trim, as well as general patina scratches and other signs of age and wear. This very large print is suitable as a statement piece. It measures approximately 27 1/2 inches tall by 23 1/4 inches wide, including frame. Description of item for sale. This beautiful and intricately hand carved statue of the Virgin Mary is from Belgium and it dates to the late 1800’s to early 1900’s. It’s made from solid walnut wood and signed by the artist, K. We were not able to find any specific information on DeKeyser. THe statue is finished to a very pleasing honey colored medium walnut color. There is a minor repair to one of her thumbs (see photos). Overall this statue is in very good antique condition with very minor scratches, chips and discolorations as would be expected and no woodworm or dry rot.
